Beware of Fraudulent Use of National Registration Cards (NRC)

Fraudsters are illegally copying and altering National Registration Cards (NRC) to carry out scams and other unlawful activities.

How are NRC cards being manipulated?

⚠ Changing or modifying NRC numbers

⚠ Replacing the photo on the NRC card

These fake NRC cards may be used to:

❗ Open bank accounts or KBZPay accounts under false identities

❗ Transfer money obtained from fraudulent activities to other accounts

❗ Conceal identities when conducting illegal activities

❗ Produce and sell fake NRC cards for financial gain

To help prevent such issues, the public is advised to:

✅ Return any NRC you find to the nearest Township Immigration Office.

✅ If your NRC is lost, report it to the nearest police station and apply for a replacement at the Township Immigration and National Registration Office.

Leasing or selling your NRC, mobile SIM card, mobile wallet account, or bank account to another person for money may result in legal action under existing laws.

Please protect your personal information and avoid sharing or selling your identification and financial accounts to others.
